I still think everyone is making a big deal out of something that isn’t there.

Neither of them said using addons makes you a bad player. They just said if you CAN’T do your job without them, there might be a problem.

Addons make it easier to do things you already do. But that doesn’t mean you don’t have to gain that skill set first. Using addons to get around developing yourself as a player is bad.

That’s all they’re saying. Everyone is freaking out though, lol.

Ego leans both ways in her post. In one line she says it is ok to use addons, but in another she states that you are crippling your raid if you rely on them. SO I guess you could take what she said either way, depending on how you read it.

Did you actually read what Ego said? I’m pretty sure at one point it states that this is not calling you a bad healer if you do use add-ons, so where do people see that you’re being called a bad healer?

This is a quote, verbatim, from her post:

“I’m not saying that if you use those other addons, you’re cheating, or that you’re a lesser healer.”

I know, that’s pretty offensive.
